Experience

I have tutored several students (older and younger then me) before in assorted subjects especially in Math and Study Skills. They went on to be A/B students later in their education. I want to be a tutor to help students who may need to be taught a topic in a different way. I think everyone learns differently, and sometimes it takes someone not in the teaching profession to explain it in a way that makes sense. I want to try to be someone who can do that. In high school I took college credit courses such as Economics, World and American History, Technical Writing, Short Stories, and Comp I and II. I have also taken up to Calculus 1 and have a strong background in science and engineering courses. I was on Math Team, Knowledge Bowl, National Honor Society, FIRST Robotics, and more during high school. I was a captain/president for most organizations I was involved with while maintaining an A/B average.
